Home Brew Competition Rules:

Cost: $10 per entry
Competition will be limited to a total of 50 entries
Must provide 2 bottles or cans per entry with the labels from the registration software attached
AHA-BJCP Sanctioned Competition
Deliver entries at Danville brewing only during business hours
Best of Show will co-brew with Danville Brewing team and be submitted as a pro-am entry to this year’s Great American Beer Festival and 1 ticket to the festival
Competition Schedule:
Drop off window 5/6 – 5/25 (During Business Hours only) Judging Date 6/1 – 6/8
All styles within following BJCP Category are eligible to enter:
Category 1: Standard American Beer
Category 2: International Lager
Category 3: Czech Lager
Category 4: Pale Malty European Lager
Category 5: Pale Bitter European Beer
Category 6: Amber Malty European Lager
Category 7: Amber Bitter European Beer
Category 8: Dark European Lager
Category 9: Strong European Beer
Category 10: German Wheat Beer
Category 11: British Bitter
Category 13: Brown British Beer
Category 14: Scottish Ale
Category 16: Dark British Beer
Category 17: Strong British Ale
Category 20: American Porter and Stout
Competition Awards:
Winner of each table will get a Medal and a Danville Brewing Gift pack
Best of Show Winner:
Best of Show will co-brew with the Danville Brewing team
The winning beer will be released at the brewery
Winner will get 1 ticket to The Great American Beer Festival (festival only)
